Marta Camarero Figuerola

Professor and researcher in the Department of Pedagogy at the Universitat Rovira i Virgili (URV).

Postdoctoral stay at the University of Nottingham (UK) in the Centre for Research in Educational Leadership and Management (CRELM) with Professor Christopher Day  and research stay at the Universidad de Sevilla (Spain) in the Analysis of Educational Organizations group with Dr. Sánchez-Moreno and Dr. López-Yáñez.

Ph.D. in Pedagogy from the URV, with a PMF-Martí i Franqués research grant for doctoral studies (2013-2015). Postgraduate degree in University Teacher Training: Teaching, Research and Management (URV; 2020) Extraordinary award for the Master’s Degree in Training of Training Professionals at URV (2011-2013). Bachelor’s degree in Pedagogy from the Universitat de Barcelona (UB; 2007-2011).

Member of the Research Network on Leadership and Improvement of Education (RILME). Editor of the International Journal of Educational Leadership & Management (IJELM). External reviewer of scientific articles for international journals indexed in recognized databases (JCR, SCOPUS, among others).

Organizing and scientific committee of international congresses such as the Multidisciplinary International Congress on Educational Research (CIMIE) and the International Congress on Leadership and Improvement of Education (CILME).

She has participated in several competitive projects such as R&D&i, from which scientific communications presented in national and international congresses and scientific publications in journals indexed in databases have been derived.

Her doctoral thesis is on School Management and Leadership. Her research lines are related to school management and educational leadership, family involvement and academic performance, initial teacher training, among others.
